A season of provision

As I write this, I have a lovely bouquet of flowers on my desk. Yesterday, a stranger came to my door and gave them to me as a "random" act of kindness, they said. But I know better. The God of our universe doesn't do random. He has been providing for our little family of 2 in amazing ways.  I'm both in awe of, and feel unworthy of the blessings He has been so generously pouring out in this season of my life. When bills are due, an large order comes in or a check is slipped into my hand just in time. I rarely even worry anymore. The fear and anxiety that used to be my everyday reality have been replaced by peace. Although it really makes no sense. A single mom who works part-time from home ought to be worried about paying the bills. Yet here I am, not doin' it. Hmmm...

Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!
